The new car is likely to be named as Panamera 4S E-Hybrid and is likely to weigh nearly 250 kgs more than the Panamera Turbo.
Porsche has planned for a high performance E-Hybrid variant of the Porsche Panamera, which is likely to be unveiled at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, scheduled to be held next month. The new high output variant is good to churn out atleast 507 hp and can attain a top speed of more than 290 kph, according to an Autocar UK report.
At the power front, Panamera sales and marketing director, Stefan Utsch told the publication that the newly developed electric motor is “unlikely to become more powerful”. The new car is likely to be named as Panamera 4S E-Hybrid and is likely to weigh nearly 250 kgs more than the Panamera Turbo.
Porsche is all set to introduce the second generation Panamera in March in India. The high performance variant Panamera Turbo will also be launched at the same time. After the launch of Panamera Turbo, the carmaker will roll out the Panamera Executive Turbo. The company is in plans to launch more petrol and diesel versions in India towards the end of 2017.
